Soft Glam Makeup Look

Hi Everyone! I hope your week is off to a great start. It's been raining here in Austin the past few days, and that's definitely a good thing since we need it! However, this type of weather does not motivate me to be productive. lol. I do have a lot of things I want to accomplish this week so I'll just have to push through!

So I created this soft glam makeup look this past weekend and I wanted to share the details with you all. (There's a short video clip at the bottom of this post.)

I received the 'Pur Cosmetics Visionary Eyeshadow Palette' from my girlfriends Alex and Morgan for my Birthday last month. (pictured below) I of course had to create a makeup look using this palette. ;-)

The colors in this palette are so pretty, and they feel so soft when you swatch them! I did notice a little bit of fall out when I dipped my eyeshadow brush in them, but they do apply nicely despite that. I also think the colors are very pigmented and they blend out well. This palette retails for $32, which I think is a fair price point.

The colors I used to create this look:

Transition shade - 'role model' (I used a sigma E25 blending brush)

crease - 'rebel' (used the same E25 brush)

lid - 'dreamer' (I used a sigma E57 shader brush for the lid)

This has been my go to foundation for the last few months! This is the Maybelline 'Superstay Full Coverage' Foundation. If you follow me on the blog or social media, then you already know how much I love this foundation. It's a full coverage foundation that lasts ALL day. It's also oil free and dermatologically tested. The only 'con' would be is that it does oxidize when it's exposed to air. (The color will be darker once applied on the skin) I suggest blending it down the neckline to make sure you get a good color match. I'm in the shade "120 - Classic Ivory." This foundation comes in a 1.0oz bottle and retails for $11.99. You can find all 24 shades at Ulta.

Other products used:

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer - in the color 'light'

Elf Cosmetics Lift Brow Pencil - in the color 'neutral brown'

Here is the short video clip/tutorial. If you have any questions about the products I used, please comment below or reach out by email! I love hearing from y'all. :)

Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today! Have a wonderful week!
