Hello everyone, welcome back to the blog! It's been quite some time since I last posted.
Two months ago I wrote a blog post about landing a new job and moving.
In that post I explained that I had to sign a 'non competitive agreement' with my new company. I can no longer post anything beauty related. I'll be honest with y'all, I took this news harder than I thought I would. Yes, I understand I now have my foot in the 'beauty industry' door, but it's not quite the same. This blog has been my creative outlet for a few years now. It's the fuel that feeds my soul and makes me happy. It's a space where I can post makeup looks and products I continue to reach for.
Luckily I can post about Supergoop products (the company I now work for) and fashion items. When I found out this news, I was ecstatic! This now gives me an opportunity to still continue to do something I enjoy creatively.
About 2 weeks ago, a company called MVMT reached out to me and asked if I wanted to collaborate with their brand. My blogger heart lit up! I was so excited to be able to work with them and get back in the game. I discovered their brand about 2 years ago watching a fitness guru on youtube.
They offer some gorgeous accessories for both men and women. (sunglasses, watches, bracelets, and necklaces.)

I'm really impressed by these accessories. The sunglasses fit perfect and everything looks so clear! I'm guilty of just buying cheap $10 sunglasses from places like Forever21 and Walmart. haha. I just have a bad tendency of scratching them or breaking them so I never purchase good quality. Though I guess you get what you pay for...
I'll have to be very careful with these. They came with a cleaning cloth and nice carrying case so I have no excuse now!

I purchased this t-shirt from 'Cents of Style' (linked below) about a year ago and it's a great reminder to always choose joy. With all of the change over the last few weeks, I was starting to feel a little stressed. Adapting to change hasn't always been my strong point, but I know it's not always a bad thing either. We always have a choice. I choose to embrace this new chapter and enjoy every moment!
