Most of you who know me or follow me on Social Media know that I graduated from Texas A&M a *few* years ago. ;-) I still try to go visit College Station when I can and attend at least one home football game a year.
This year I rode with some friends to College Station for the Alabama game. We unfortunately didn't get tickets, but we tailgated and celebrated with the rest of the fans. (Even though we lost) I plan to go with my cousins and some of their friends to the Aggie/Auburn game on 11/4. Hopefully we'll win!
I might be biased, but I love the color maroon/burgundy. It's not only the color of my alumni, but it's a gorgeous fall color. I've linked all of the makeup products below that I used to create this look. The Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette contains the perfect mauve's/burgundy colors to create this type of makeup look.

Hands down one of my favorite primers! I still have a few more on my list to try, but this one is perfect for the dry skin folks. It's so hydrating and goes on so smooth. This primer is infused with coconut water, a probiotic-based ingredient, and skin revivers which work together to boost skin’s radiance, promote elasticity, and help hydrate while locking down makeup for fresher, longer, and more flawless wear.
This is one of my favorite drugstore foundations. Even though this foundation is more ideal for oily skin types, I love it because it helps minimize pores and it's a medium coverage foundation. If you're not a fan of medium to full coverage foundations, I would try a BB cream or CC cream. I apply this foundation with a beauty blender and I feel like it blends out so flawlessly giving that airbrush finish.
Tarte "Shape Tape" Y'all.....need I say more?? lol. This concealer is everything. It is pretty thick/full coverage and a little amount goes a long way. This concealer really does brighten and conceal so well. I highly recommend it! I use this under the eyes, the bridge of the nose, center of the forehead, and the chin.
The Laura Mercier translucent powder is one of my favorite setting powders. There's other great options out in the market, but I continue to gravitate towards this one. It sets everything in place without looking ghostly or washed out.
I originally purchased this contour palette at a makeup show in Dallas, and I've really enjoyed it so far. I use this on all of my clients and I think it works well for all skin tones and skin types. If I don't use this palette to contour I will reach for my Hoola Bronzer which I've raved about numerous times on my blog.
Is it just me, or does Nars have some of the best blushes?! This is one of my all time favorites. This is the Nars blush in the color "Mata Hari." These blushes are so pigmented and a little product goes a long way.
Anastasia Beverly Hills is the *Queen Bee* of brows. This dip brow pomade is my favorite, and I use it all the time. I like brow pencils, but when I'm creating dramatic looks I reach for this product.
If someone were to ask me to pick one beauty brand to use for the rest of my life, I honestly think I would choose Anastasia Beverly Hills. (a close tie with MAC) She seems to knock every product out of the park in my opinion. I have yet to try a product I didn't like. I still want to try her foundation sticks, but everything else I've tried has been phenomenal!
This palette is beautiful. The colors are gorgeous, AND super pigmented. There's hardly any fall out and the colors will last for hours. Highly recommend this palette!
I saw this eyeliner when I was in Target a few weeks ago. I decided to give it a try. I love eyeliner pens like this one and the fact that it was angled had me intrigued! I find it easier to control and glide on. So far I'm really liking this eyeliner by Maybelline.
It's been a hot minute since I've featured this mascara. It's still one of my favorites! Just look at that brush! This mascara lengthens, volumizes, and coats every lash. I'm so picky when it comes to mascara. In my opinion it has to have a great brush and great formula. This 'lashcraft' mascara contains both of those features. I have yet to see the formula clump up overtime.
Lashes are definitely optional, but I am a makeup artist so I'm usually going to throw on a pair. Ardell wispies are my favorite and I will always continue to reach for these! I also keep multi packs of these lashes in my kit for clients. Ardell has so many different styles and you can find them at any drugstore.
This is the Colourpop Cosmetics Ultra Matte Lipstick in the color "Notion." I'm wearing two coats in the picture above. I love Colourpop products, but to be 100% honest with y'all, this is not my favorite lipstick formula. Over time this lipstick will bleed into the outer edges of your lips. (hello joker from batman) Not a pretty look! I will be on the hunt for a better lip product in this shade.
That concludes all the makeup details and products that I used to create this look. Please reach out if you have any questions. Thanks for stopping by, and have a great weekend!
