Last Thursday I had the privilege to meet some local Austin bloggers at the ATX Blogger Mixer. The mixer was held at Adelante Boutique. If you're in the Austin area, definitely check them out! Super cute stuff.
The boutique was recently remodeled by Claire Zinnecker a local Austin interior designer. Can we all just take a second to admire this golden wall?! I just love the color gold. I thought this wall added a nice, clean sophisticated touch to the overall appearance.
They also had cute golden signs all over the boutique! This one caught my eye of course. ;)
My childhood friend Jesse Coulter (pictured below on the right) was the host of the night. She was the first founder of the ATX Blogger Mixer 2 years ago. Go check out her blog and instagram! Jessecoulter.net (her intstagram is @jessecoulter) She is hilarious and always puts a smile on my face!
My friend/coworker Alex Hammer is pictured above on the left. She moved to Texas from Chicago a year and a half ago with her fiancé Sonny. I inspired her to start a blog a few months ago. She is doing so well with it, and motivates me everyday to keep improving. I'm grateful to share this experience with her. Go check out her blog and Instagram! (www.alexandrachristineblog.com and instagram: @alexandrachammer)
The guest speaker of the night was Chrystie Vachon. (pictured in the middle above) Her blog/website is www.livingfornaptime.com. (Instagram @naptimenation) She had an amazing story to share with all of us. I love hearing how people start out chasing their dreams and eventually become successful over time. She inspired us to keep pushing forward and to never give up on our passions.
If you're a Mommy, I would definitely check out her website. She is a mommy of 3, and has some great tips on bringing in more income for the family. Even if your not a mommy she has some great blogging information.
I also had the privlage to meet another beauty guru! This is Bailey and I at the mixer. Her youtube page is: https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCgAd5xSCRKmWJPAlZGYyCBw?sub_confirmation=1 (her instagram is @dailybaileyb) Check out her pages for some great beauty tips!
Besides networking and meeting new friends, we also enjoyed some yummy wraps by Baby Greens, and comforted our sweet tooth with delicious cookies from Shortbread Baking Co.
Towards the end of the night we also had the opportunity shop around the boutique. I quickly discovered these cute makeup bags. I'm sure we've all asked ourselves that question before! "Is my eyeliner even??" ;)
Overall it was a great time at the mixer, and I can't wait for the next one! If you're interested in attending the next event, please reach out to Jesse or I. We would love to have you there!
Thank you for taking the time to stop by. Have a wonderful week!
XOXO - Amy
